For twenty-five years prior to joining Domicile Real Estate Brokerage, James Trimble was nationally and internationally recognized for his extensive expertise in marketing ocean and freshwater islands, and estate properties in Maine. James founded Trimble Private Brokerage  in  1986, and built the business into 4 offices spanning the State. His unique ability to discreetly market the understated yet stylish Maine estates to the affluent buyers who seek the rarest of rare real estate, earned him the title of the "Island King" .James has been often quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and Kiplinger’s as well as other publications.

To have houses in both Maine and Charleston is considered by many to be best of both worlds. Being of a similar mind, James is linking his expertise to both havens and has become a member of the Domicile Real Estate Brokerage team.
