In 2009, Lee Benton began working with Domicile as the Office Manager and is now Property Manager for Domicile’s newest division, Charleston Luxury Rentals. Lee’s knowledge of the Charleston rental market, her painstaking attention to detail, experience in marketing and advertising provides a unique perspective to her clients whether they’re choosing the perfect rental property or bridging the gap being renting and selling their property.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Lee grew up in and around real estate, with her father’s and both maternal and paternal grandparents’ businesses in property development and historic restoration. As a child, she visited job sites, lived in historic properties and saw firsthand the results of property development.

A 1999 graduate of the College of Charleston, Lee moved backed to Richmond to begin her professional career. Her experiences included event marketing, managing the marketing and branding for Virginia Tourism, media, advertising and public relations. During her six years in Richmond, she also renovated and sold properties.

In 2006, Lee began a career in property management with Daniel Ravenel Real Estate. There, she managed more than 100 properties throughout downtown Charleston, from apartment buildings to fully furnished South of Broad homes.

Currently, Lee and her family live in the Avondale neighborhood of West Ashley.
